Christmas SpecialOakenwald Terrace’s Christmas Open House

November 30th and December 1st: 1:00 to 6:00 PM

Please join us for our Holiday Open House!

It is that time of year once again. Oakenwald Terrace is magically transforming into a Christmas wonderland. Instead of helping with the interior decorations, Bob is feigning writer’s block on the email to invite you to come and experience the finished product. The writer’s block will recede as soon as the interior decorations are done!

This is the annual Holiday Open House for Oakenwald Terrace. In honor of Bob’s father, Shelby, who had always dreamed of converting Oakenwald into a B&B but died from a heart attack before the transition, we are opening the house to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Every year hundreds of local residents, former guests, and many of you who drive by and just stop in front of Oakenwald to look… wondering what it must be like on the inside… take advantage of our Christmas Open House to see just how spectacular it is this year. Once again, you can’t help but get into the Christmas spirit after a visit to our Open House.

The entire house will be open and decorated. Make sure to allow enough time to see all four floors. We will have refreshments available and are suggesting a donation of $5 per person for the Heart Fund. Bring your kids; you don’t even have to throw money in the bucket for the kids (unless they eat more than 10 cookies from the refreshment table). For those of you that have a hard time breaking away from the football games… we will have the games on in the kitchen… near the food.

If you are able to join us for the Open House we would absolutely love to have you here. For our past guests at Oakenwald, you are part of the family now, so if you can’t make it during these two days, give us a call and come down whenever it fits your schedule. Better yet, grab some friends and come stay for a weekend… the decorations are up part way through January and off-season rates apply. We will also be selling gift certificates during our Open House, or by phone, for any of you that know someone who would love a stay at Oakenwald.

We hope to see you at the Open House. If you are not able to make it this year, come and see us when you can. Have a wonderful Holiday Season and God Bless!
